SEO for your website: 7 steps

Concrete things that help your business show up on Google, with no complicated tricks.

What SEO is, briefly

SEO is the work that helps Google understand your site and show it to the people searching for exactly what you offer. There is no quick trick, but there are clear steps that pay off over time.

1. A clear title and description for every page

The title and description are what appear in Google results. Write them for people: what you offer, where and for whom. Every page gets its own title.

2. Content that answers questions

Write about the questions customers ask: how much does it cost, what is included, how does it work. Blog articles and FAQ pages do exactly that.

3. A heading structure

A page has one H1 (the main title) and H2s for its sections. It helps readers and Google understand what the page is about.

4. Speed and mobile

Google ranks pages that open fast and work well on a phone higher. Optimise your images and make sure the page looks good on a small screen.

5. SSL security

An address that starts with https is a trust signal for visitors and for Google. It is part of every package we offer.

6. Internal links

Link your pages to each other with meaningful text (for example "our packages", not "click here"). That way Google finds all your pages and visitors go further.

7. Google Search Console and a sitemap

Register your site in Google Search Console and submit sitemap.xml. You will see how Google finds you and which problems need fixing. For local businesses a complete Google Business Profile is also worth it.

How long it takes

SEO does not deliver results in a day. Add useful content regularly and keep the site fast and clean. Basic SEO is included in every site we build, and advanced SEO from the second package.
